1. Who we are
13dogsTFT is a community fan project for Teamfight Tactics players. This page explains what personal data we collect, why, and how to exercise your rights. For any privacy question, contact us at thirteendogs@13dogstft.com.
2. What we collect
- Account data — when you sign in via email or an OAuth provider (Google, Discord), we receive your email address and a unique account identifier from the provider.
- Profile data — display name and avatar that you set yourself in profile settings.
- User content — saved compositions and other content you create on the site.
- Gameplay data — scores, ranks, and match history generated by your use of the guesser tools.
- Public Riot game data — we ingest public match and ladder data from Riot's API for statistics. This may include your in-game name if you appear on a public leaderboard. We do not publish your Riot PUUID; public endpoints expose only opaque server-generated identifiers.
- Technical data — standard server logs (IP, user agent, timestamps) for debugging and abuse prevention.
- Aggregate analytics — a cookieless count of how many times each page is opened, stored per page per day. It uses no cookie or identifier and contains no personal data.
- Advertising data — Google AdSense and its partners process ad-related data such as cookie identifiers, device and browser information, approximate (non-precise) location, and your interactions with ads, to serve and measure advertising — subject to your consent choices where consent is required (EEA, UK, Switzerland).
3. Legal basis for processing (EU/UK visitors)
- Account, profile, user content — performance of our contract with you (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
- Gameplay data, server logs, public Riot data — our legitimate interest in operating, securing, and improving the service (Art. 6(1)(f)).
- Cookieless analytics — our legitimate interest in understanding which pages are used (Art. 6(1)(f)). It sets no cookies or trackers and stores no personal data, so it does not rely on consent.
- Advertising cookies — your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)), collected through a Google-certified consent message shown to EEA/UK/Swiss visitors. You can withdraw it at any time via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer, without affecting ads already shown.
4. How we use it
Personal data is used to operate the service: authenticate you, store your saved content, render leaderboards, and keep the site running. We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for automated decision-making that produces legal effects.
5. Where it lives and who processes it
We rely on the following sub-processors:
- Supabase — managed Postgres and authentication. Hosts account, profile, and user-content data. Region: EU (eu-central-1 / Frankfurt, Germany).
- Railway — runs our backend and ingestion worker. Processes request logs and aggregated game data.
- Riot Games — source of public match and ladder data ingested via the Riot Developer API.
- Google (Google Ireland Limited) — serves ads via Google AdSense and processes the advertising data described above. See Google's Privacy Policy.
6. How long we keep it
- Account and profile data — for as long as your account exists; removed within 30 days of an account-deletion request.
- User content — same retention as your account; you can also delete individual saved compositions at any time.
- Server logs — 30 days, then automatically discarded.
- Aggregated statistics — retained indefinitely. These contain no personal data (only counts and averages keyed by comp / character / item / patch).
7. Cookies and local storage

If you are in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, advertising cookies are set only after you agree through a Google-certified consent message; if you do not consent, ads are still shown but without advertising cookies or personalization, and you can change your choice at any time via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer. Outside those regions, advertising cookies — including for personalized ads — may be set by default; see the Cookie Policy for how to opt out.
Cookie-uri de analiză

8. Your rights
If you are in the EU, UK, or another GDPR-equivalent jurisdiction, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your data (right to erasure).
- Restrict or object to specific processing.
- Receive a copy of your data in a portable format.
- Withdraw any consent you previously gave.
- Lodge a complaint with your local data-protection supervisory authority.
Account deletion is available in app settings (avatar menu - Settings - Account). To exercise any other right, email thirteendogs@13dogstft.com and we will respond within 30 days.
9. International transfers
Account and profile data is processed in the EU. If a sub-processor ever transfers personal data outside the EU/UK, we rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (or an equivalent valid mechanism) for that transfer. Google may process advertising data on servers outside the EU/UK, including in the United States, relying on Standard Contractual Clauses and other approved safeguards.
10. Children
The service is not directed at children under 13 (or 16 in jurisdictions where that is the relevant age of digital consent). We do not knowingly collect data from children.
11. Changes
Material changes to this policy will be communicated via the site. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change.
